Tristan Copelan is a professional drummer originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and currently based in Los Angeles, California. His early exposure to the music industry came through his parents—both seasoned professionals—who played a pivotal role in nurturing his passion and talent from a young age.

In the fall of 2020, Tristan enrolled at Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, where he graduated with honors from the Drum Performance Program. A pivotal moment in his education was the opportunity to study under renowned drummer and educator Fred Dinkins, whose mentorship played a significant role in shaping Tristan’s growth as a musician. He continues to study under Fred's guidance today, further refining his craft alongside other respected industry figures such as Robin Diaz, Dirk Verbeuren, and John Tempesta—deepening his expertise in both studio recording and live performance.

Tristan began touring professionally in late 2023 as the drummer for GARZI. Since then, he has toured and collaborated with a diverse range of artists, including Layto, Stitched Up Heart, Escape the Fate, Fatalist, Earth to Cheska, KODE, and others. His growing list of credits is a testament to his versatility, adaptability, and endurance as both a live and studio performer.
